Matched pair of WHITE LABEL Amperex 7308/E188CC JAN (Joint Army Navy) vacuum tubes with gold pins, and made in USA. This pair have desirable painted tips indicating special selection.

This pair is extremely quiet with no microphonics and suitable for usage in phono stage as well as line stage (tested in actual preamp). All 4 sections are extremely tightly matched match within 5%!

This pair is very very strong and test higher than most of the NOS NIB Amperex 7308 tubes, and will give you years of trouble-free service.
 
These highly sought-after (with a good reason) White Label 7308's are made for US Navy, and they are exactly the same tubes as Amperex White Label PQ 7308 tubes (only with tighter and more stringent military spec). 
  
They have "VR" code which indicates 7308 type tubes with exactly the same date codes. 

Same Etched Date Code: VR5*6I (September 1966).   
Same Sand Blasted Date Code: 638 (38th week of 1966). Same Painted Date Code indicating Packed Date: 67-04.

All tubes are tested by Hickok 539C vacuum tube tester. This tester was precision calibrated by Roger Kennedy to improve measurement accuracy. 83 and 5Y3 tubes were replaced by Solid State rectifiers to minimize calibration drift in the tester.

All tubes are installed into an actual audio circuit to screen them for internal tube noise/micorphonics. Excessively noisy or/and microphonic tube issues would make them unsuitable for usage in a phono stage or in high-gain line stage preamps.

Music Reference RM-4 pre-preamp (moving coil head amp with 30 db gain) is used for "in circuit"/real world noise/microphonic testing.
