Data. Tested today on calibrated Hickock TV-10A/U for Gm Mutual Conductance and Eico 666 for % Dynamic Emission.
Hickok (Min is 950; NOS is 2000+ in Mutual Trans-Conductance): 1750/2000 and 1750/2000
Eico 666 (min is 80% NOS is 120%+ in Dynamic Emission) 110/126 and 110/126
These are used tubes but test strong. The date codes on both are Delta-8H.
If these were new, they would go for $400-$500 on webpages, if you can find a matched pair like these. The script logo is particularly rare. Logo is faded, but still pretty clear and looks cool. All my tubes come with a satisfaction guarantee, of course.
The Holland Long Plates are legendary. they have a unique holographic and clear sound that is totally non fatiguing. I believe these should be considered the reference against which to judge all 12AX7.
