We’re Stereo Exchange, located in New York City. We've been in business since the 1970s and are a major high-end dealer. We have all the current top brands on display in our huge showroom.

These VTL DeLuxe 600 amps are used and look to be in quite nice shape.

They sound great!

When turned on, there is a VERY slight crackling noise in the background on each amp, which then slowly decreases. This may be normal, or may mean that the amps need new tubes (or something!).

They look quite good (not perfect) and, luckily, we have the boxes so they can be shipped safely.

These are one of the most powerful tube amps ever designed, at 600 Watts.

Since we do NOT sell the brand, and since we know little about these, we are including the following note.

The previous owner writes…

“They were purchase in 1993 and upgraded in 1996. The cost of the upgrade was around $3-4000, I think. The upgrade includes new Signature Output Transformers, MIT caps, and it’s upgraded to use KT90 tubes. The upgrade does NOT make it into a full MB750 amp. But it’s upgraded to an output of 750 Watts in tetrode mode and 350 watts in triode mode. The tubes are very old and need to be replaced, but still holding voltage.”

• We are setting the reserve quite low, since the amps will need at least new tubes.
• The RESERVE is $3288.00 for the pair with the original boxes.
