Vincent SA-T1 Stereo Tube Preamplifier

For sale is one used Vincent SA-T1 stereo preamplifier in good condition. With remote control.

This preamp has 6 line level inputs and 2 RCA outputs. It has Bass and Treble controls, tone defeat, loudness, and mute buttons.

It is a very good sounding preamp with clear and detailed highs; not bright and edgy. The midrange is full and rich and bass is clean and extended.

Cosmetically this preamp is in good condition. There is a small indentation and scratch on the front top edge of the unit above the input selector that I just made when I moved it to take a picture, and another very small scratch on the top edge above the bass control. The tube window on the front panel is also slightly murky. This is a factory defect but it never bothered me. You don’t even notice it when it is powered up and the tube is glowing.

I have replaced the two original 12AX7 tubes with Mullards, and the single 12AU7 tube is from China.

This unit functions perfectly and sounds great. There are many positive reviews on the internet.
