VAC Renaissance 30/30 MKIII Stereo amp.

I have a beautiful looking and magnificent sounding VAC Renaissance 30/30. This amp has earned its reputation among the all time purest sounding amps. It has a complement of VAC sourced and labeled 300b and 6sn7 input and  tubes. It runs silently both internally and externally. The amp plays all kinds of music with power and finesse. Its hand built, with the finest materials.

It is a factory Mk3 model that incorporated all of Designer Kevin Hayes' latest thinking. I was told when I bought it that all tubes test very strong, I believe it. It has the Sentry circuit to ensure that a bad tube will not damage the amp. Also, it has an automatic biasing circuit, so output tubes stay optimized. I encourage you to search reviews and Forums on Audiogon, Audio Asylum and others as further testimony discussing its merits. Its been used only a few hours by me. I have to many amps.

Cosmetically its not mint, but has gleaming brass covers on the caps and on two of the transformer covers. The only ding I could find is a 1/4 inch nick on the back of the middle black transformer.(See photos) Its very clean and probably has always been kept that way.

The box is a new, custom made oversized unit, with extraordinary inner cushioning. Its one of the best protected boxes I have received. The tubes, power cord and brass compacitor covers will travel in a separate box.
