Owned by me since new, original and iconic yellow Sonic Frontiers faceplate. Lightly used since being upgraded by Chris Johnson of Parts Connexion to Platinum SE+ status at a cost of $1000. Chris Johnson is the former president of Sonic Frontiers.
This SFL-1 is the piece that convinced me to have at least one item of
tubed gear somewhere in my system. Low hours on the quiet 12AT7/ECC81 tube. Balance control disabled for a straighter signal path, especially when run through the Direct input. Superb quality construction and wiring, very well maintained. I've gone to a solid state pre and tubed power amp, so it's time to let someone else enjoy this wonderful piece.
