Shindo Labs Monbrison Mint condition

This preamp ended my gear-chasing quest. Shindo pre-amps are legendary, words needn't be repeated (Art Dudley of Stereophile and Jack Roberts of Dagogo have done enough). The combination of Devore Orangutans and Shindo Monbrison was it for me.

When I first auditioned Shindo system at Pitch Perfect audio in LA, I realized my quest for the perfect audio system had ended. Shindo showed me the light at the end of the tunnel. String music had richness, trumpets were alive, drums reverberated giving me goosebumps. The forums on audiogon etc were wrong, Shindo isn't colored, its alive, music is alive with Shindo preamps.

If ,like me, you have been swapping DACs, Amps, speakers for years on audiogon, spouting many audiophile terms (soundstage, air, mid-range clarity) but just can't find the right sound, you owe it to yourself to try an Shindo preamp. It will make you stop returning to audiogon classifieds obsessively and you will be going to music store, or buying CDs/Vinyls instead.

In fact after inserting the Shindo preamp (which comes with a world class phono stage) even CDs sounded so good that I didn't need to spend money on vinyl.

I bought this preamp from a Shindo dealer in May 2015 as a trade-in unit, by the time they were ready to be shipped to my home (in July 2015) my situation changed and I am in the complicated process of moving abroad. Most of my gear is 230V compatible but this preamp isn't. Hence the sale. I am also selling my Devore Orangutans because I am not sure of my listening space in my new home (see other ad). Ironic I discovered these two pieces that really completed my quest, this late and they have to be sold, c'est la vie.
