We traded this amp in, and its in very fine shape. The only blemishes I could find, and they are slight, are on the BACK.

We were not sure how much use the tubes had, so, when Roger was in our store, he offered to go through the amp completely, test it for output and distortion, and add all the latest improvements.

He gave it a clean bill of health, and says that we can give its NEW owner the same lifetime warranty…Thanks, Roger!

One of the four Gold Lion output tubes has slightly different printing and cosmetics than the other three…Roger says that’s unimportant and not to worry, so I’m not going to!

• Although it was traded in without a carton, we had a spare carton in our basement (it’s actually a box in a box), complete with all the packing, for another EHF100 we had sold to a customer a few months after this one was built, so it will have the exact proper box for shipping, just with the wrong serial number on the box.
  

Useful things to know about this amp…

---Being a line level integrated amp, the EHF-100 needs an external phono preamp if you want to connect it to a turntable. There are lots of those available.

---Having no phono section or tone controls, the preamp section of the EHF100 is basically one tube more than a power amp just to “up the gain”.

It would work PERFECTLY if you want to just use it as a power amp. Just set the volume to about 2-O-Clock and use one input.

Used in this way, just as a power amp, it will still have lower noise and distortion than 90% of tube power amps out there.
