STEREOPHILE CLASS "A" RATED 80 WATT TUBE MONBLOCK AMPLIFIERS

I am not new to Audiogon but I am new as a "seller".  Purchased new by me from an authorized dealer in mid-2012, upgraded with Gold Lion KT-88s (original JJ’s are included too), Herbie’s Tube Dampers on all tubes and Synergistic Research fuses.  Also included with each amp is the stock power cord and a Shunyata Venom3 power snake power cord.  Tremendous midrange presence and realism, with ample, well defined bass and crystaline, sweet highs.  These amplifiers make music.  IMO not sonically bettered by any amp for less than twice the price (I looked and listened).  The amplifiers’ simple, classic appearance and design just look and sound fantastic.  The amps each consist of a big heavy transformer with hand-soldered point-to-point wiring connecting just a pair of power tubes, an input tube and one driver tube per channel.  So easy to bias I can do it ("trim-pots" are a screw behind each power tube) with a bias level meter right on the face plate of each amp. All you need is flathead screwdriver (no multi-meter).  Sam Tellig wrote in Stereophile about these amplifiers: "Might this be one of the greatest bargains in hi-fi?...What made Quicksilver Audio’s Silver 88 Mono Amplifier special was its harmonic presentation.  I don’t like to trot out that "truth of timbre" business, but it was there: Instruments and vocalists had a realism, a harmonic structure, that even the best solid state amplifiers can’t seem to get right.  And, oh yes, there was three-dimensionality: palpable presence and all that stuff."  [I agreed upon hearing them before ever reading his review.]  Both amps appear to me to be in very good shape; conservatively rated as 7’s.  Will ship amps as purchaser instructs (UPS, Fed Ex, USPS) at purchaser’s expense in original boxes; extra power cords, manual, warranty card, tubes, fuses, tube dampers, will be sent in a third (lighter) box.  Each amp boxed is about 45 pounds.  Thanks for looking.
