Four 12AX7 (two Mullard UK long plate & two Telefunken Germany)

Two 12AU7 -Telefunken Germany

Two 12BH7 – RCA USA

Two 5U4GB rectifiers – GE USA

Four vintage US-made GE 6L6GC clear top.

All tubes are tested, strong and balanced with a calibrated TV7 tube tester. The power tubes are additionally tested with digital Maximatcher in order to be properly matched by pair for current draw, essential for these push pull amps.

ALSO INCLUDED: a spare set of tested and strong and matched-for-current-draw quad of metal 6L6 power tubes and full set spare set of the small tubes – RCA 12ax7 (4 x ), GE 12AUX7 (2x) and Sylvania 12BH7 (x2) for the tube rollers out there.

Cosmetically restored:

Chassis professionally sanded, re-chrome-plated and re-printed with epoxy ink (these are the ORIGINAL chassis, not the cheap repros you find on ebay). Black bases professionally powder coated & transformers professionally painted (no smell).

Electronically restored:

Complete electronic restoration, all carbon comp resistors replace with same if off by more than 5% (99% of them in this case…), the critical 12k2w resistors replaced with 1% Allen Bradley 2W carbons, , every single capacitor (combination of Sprague Atom electrolytic, new Paper In Oil caps for coupling, polypropylene for bypass, silver mica for small values), new, German-made multi-section, 525v/550v can capacitor (power supply filtering), the tallest (for similar look as originals) and most expensive on the market (nothing glued to bottom of chassis — your Mcintosh amps deserve better). Pots cleaned and deox’d for noise free operation
new power cords & RCA jacks
all voltages checked and well within range of McIntosh factory specs
all transformers are original McIntosh of course.
