This dual mono 2 piece (power supply + main unit) integrated tube amp rated at 350 watts has been written up in many reviews (see below) and is a classic. Only 500 made for the US. Mine is #107. I am the ORIGINAL OWNER. Many inputs (all RCA) including a 'pre-out' I have been using with excellent results for the past year with a separate amplifier. Dual speaker binding posts as well. This combo of pre/amp together delivers fantastic sound.

I will accept check or PayPal. Thanks for looking.

The 7 is due to several cosmetic flaws as a result of shipping damage when it was re-tubed two years ago. It got a couple of scratches on the power supply front casing (they are minor looking to me, but I did debate whether to rate this a 6). Also, while the feet glow both orange (on warm up) and blue (when 30 minutes have passed), one blue foot on the power supply and one on the main unit no longer light. These have no effect on the sound, simply cosmetic issues. I will include two remotes: while both work with new batteries, one seems to function more reliably than the other. I bought this unit new from a dealer in late 2003. This has been very well maintained in a smoke and pet-free environment. At the time it was re-tubed it was gone over by the technician and given a clean bill of health.

From a review: "And what a pay-off! The Tri-Vista behaves more like a big mutha pre/power combo than any of the super-integrateds I've reviewed lately, especially in the way it acts like it respects neither boundaries nor limitations. I don't know if sheer force was as much a part of the design brief as finesse and delicacy - they're of equal worth in the Michaelson canon - but the Tri-Vista exhibits a sense of brawn which places it above nearly all of the other integrateds I've tried. It certainly stomps the Pathos Logos also reviewed in this issue for grunt, but it is, equally, lacking much of that amp's warmth. So, before we go any further, let's make this bit perfectly clear: if you need an amp with plenty of muscle and simply cannot or will not offer shelf space and AC sockets to two components, put the Tri-Vista on your list. It's also the primary gain, though there are other less significant ones, over the still thrilling Nu-Vista M3 integrated.

"What the grunt has to do with the 5703 valve itself is negligible; rather, it's a by-product of the output stages and the power supplies, the 5703's role occurring before that part of the chain. Oddly, given the more tube-like appearance and nature of the 5703 itself over the nuvistor, the Tri-Vista exhibits less valve-like behaviour than the M3, as cited above with the delicious Pathos Logos.

"Conversely, the three areas where it really pees on the tree are its sense of three-dimensional space, its bass extension and power, and transient attack. Combine the three, and you're talking about an amplifier begging to rock your world.

From AudiogoN thread:

"Update - It's been almost 5 years now since I bought my MF Trivista 300 integrated amp. All I can say is LOVE LOVE LOVE. I am still not out of my honeymoon period with it yet. I did sell my other integrated amp (Copland CTA 402), at a really decent price I might add, since I mostly use the Trivista anyway. I did however, bought a McIntosh MC300 power amp that I sometimes use through the pre-out bypass of the Trivista power amp, and run it through the MC300. However, I think the Trivista 300 holds its own without connecting it to the MC300. The Trivista by itself has a cleaner sound both high and mid. And can punch out enough solid bass all by itself. The only slight difference when connected to the MC300 power amp may improve the bass 1/100th of a percent (not that I can measure anyway. It just sounds a ever so slight better). It was an upgrade bug that caused me to get the MC300, maybe I'll get a pre-amp and run them as a separate system to the Trivista. BTW - I am still using the Trivista 300 with my Proac Response 1SC that I owned for over 12 years (and probably never sell but pass it down to my kid someday), and once in a while I'll plug in the Martin Logan Scenario. Audio Haven either way. Anybody out there thinking of a Trivista 300 should definitely give it a listen."

This unit does have a 20 amp input for the power cord, so if you use an after-market cord, please make note that only a 20 amp end will work.
