You will be amazed by the performance of this affordable vacuum tube preamplifier. The LeAnna EV Plus utilizes a Class A, Zero Feedback circuit and performs well above it's affordable price indicates. The LeAnna EV Plus preamp and matching power supply are both housed in an all new 1/8" thick aluminum chassis measuring 12" W x 10.25" D x 4.25". The finish is black anodized brushed aluminum with CNC carved front and rear panels.

The circuit is based on a single 12AU7 tube per channel and is designed with a constant current source topology. Signal path components include high precision Carbon Film resistors, V-Cap OIMP output capacitors (shown in picture above with optional V-Cap CUTF bypass capacitors installed) and high quality copper signal wiring. An Alps Blue remote pot with mute function and passive HT bypass are standard.

The back panel houses 4 sets of single ended inputs, one set of home theater bypass inputs and two sets of single ended outputs as shown in the picture below. The passive home theater bypass switch is now located on the front panel.

The standard power supply is solid state and uses quality components throughout. High Current Toroidal Transformer is utilized with CLC (choke filtered) topology and high quality capacitors used.

The optional VTPS (vacuum tube power supply) as shown at the bottom of page enhances the organic richness of the presentation while maintaining dynamic authority, resolution and transparency.

Utilizes a choke input design, LCLC, (choke-capacitor-choke-capacitor) topology with the first stage using only polypropylene capacitors. Tube filaments are fed via a highly regulated DC supply.

A separate, dedicated toroidal transformer and power supply is installed to handle the duties of the remote control volume.

The VTPS can run various rectifier tubes....5AR4/GZ34, 5U4, 274B and comes equipped with either a 5U4 or 274B tube. Does not come with the Sophia Electric 274B shown in the picture but is a highly recommended upgrade.
