Up for sale is a very rare (especially in the US) Michaelson and Austin TVA-10 power amplifier. This was designed by Tim de Paravicini after he returned to the UK after his Luxman stint, who is also famous for his EAR Yoshino products. The "Michaelson" is Anthony Michaelson, who went on to start Musical Fidelity. This amp is a cult classic, and mostly unheard of in the US.

After Michaelson and Austin's demise, the designs were taken over by Mentmore Industries, and Mentmore continued making TVA-10s. Mentore's line was taken over by Papworth Audio Technologies, who have further developed the designs, and are still in existence (at least a web site). I believe they can still provide things like transformers, if they are ever needed

This Michaelson and Austin TVA-10 comes equipped with 4 Sylvania 6L6 tubes, 4 Mullard 12ax7 , and 2 ECC81 tubes. This amp is in full working condition and sounds like a nice warm and smooth vintage tube amp with plenty of punch and drive. Search "Michaelson and Austin tva-10 ebay" to see this amp running in our store. Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping charges.
Happy Bidding.

Questions for the seller
Hello, Two questions: How easy, or difficult, is it to bias the tubes on this amp? If the amp ever needed "attention", who could provide the service? Thanks in advance for, hopefully, your speedy reply. Cordially, L.A. Scott aka [email protected]
I have no problem providing the service for this amp. The amp has been checked here in shop and tested for several hours sounding great. The Amp biases itself... automatic bias.. no adjustment needed.
Sorry, but I forgot to ask, are the images those of the actual product you are listing?
Yes they are mine. I work at a audio store.
