MFA MAGUS A-2 BRUCE MOORE DESIGNED AND HIGHLY REGARDED TUBE PREAMPLIFIER WITH PHONO STAGE AND SEPARATE POWER SUPPLY. This preamplifier seems to get multiple mentions and recommendations in on line threads identifying desirable used tube preamplifiers in under $1000 range. We have tested for normal operation but can’t verify the age of the four tubes (two per channel). Tubes are E88CC similar to 6DJ8 or 6922 tubes and readily available. We do not have the original box or manual. One of the four rubber corner feet is missing. Back of unit indicates this is the MFA MAGUS A-2.
