LINE MAGNETIC 211 EL-34 Tube IA Brand New In Box!

OK...here's the story: I've always wanted to try this line. It has a devout following, and is known in that circle...as the poor-man's Shindo. I waded-in, with a barely used...and still under warranty...211. I'm no stranger to good kit...nor tube amps; but this unit really WoWed me!

EL-34s, and good, strong power-supplies; worked wonders with my Harbeth 30.1s. Alright...so how did I come into, the new-in-the-box example listed here? I'd only had the 211 a short while...when I had a little tube mishap (entirely NOT an issue or defect, of the unit; just bad luck). Because it was still under warranty, I contacted the dealer...who referred me to the distributor; and let's just say, the customer service for this brand...is outstanding. For a nominal fee...the distributor agreed to replace it with a new one.

Well...I'm a little embarrassed to say; I am that audiophile...lol. Without the 211, I grew bored; came across speakers I'd also always wanted to try. Felt like maybe they needed more juice, than a sweet EL-34 could provide; bought a whole, new ARC front-end!

So...as soon as the replacement arrived, I'm throwing it up on Audiogon, right? Wrong. I've been sitting on it...for several weeks; trying to figure out, how to use it in a second system...maybe I should just crack it open, and see how it sounds with the new speakers. Etc, etc.

It pains me to sell it; but I decided, ultimately...it's just too damn good, to play second (system) fiddle. It deserves to be front-and-center, in the right rig.

Hopefully, you feel the love I have for this unit (and I wouldn't count one of the BIG Line Magnetics, out of my future; that's how much I like the line). I'm not going to write paragraphs, on the sound and functionality. One...I feel like if you're looking, you already know what we're talking about here; and two...you can always drop me a private line. I don't mind talking shop, with a fellow enthusiast.
