Korneff 45 SET Triode Amp

Selling a copy of the wonderful Korneff 45 amp, I've built a number of these and they never fail to satisfy also compare very favourably to the original especially considering the price tag. Low gain 2 stage design which can use either 6j5/6p5 or 6n7 driver instead of 6sn7 since nice round plates versions of these tubes can still be found for sensible money. Power is about 2 watts into 8 ohm load, best suited for high sensitivity speakers of about 98db or better although I've used this with 95db speakers successfully. Well made with audio grade parts, paper in oil coupling capacitors, riken/Allen Bradley carbon comp resistors, f&t/Elna capacitors and great sounding vintage tamura/tamradio output transformers, wired with kimber pure copper wire and silver solder. Beautiful sounding amp, very quiet with natural and musical tone everything you would expect from SET amp. Tubes included, engraved base philo 6j5, RCA/NU 45, Sylvania 6by5g rectifier. I have one of your Korneff 45 SET Clone amps and wanted to let you know how much I like it. The one I have is a 6BY5/6SN7/45 stereo amp using vintage Tamura/Tamradio output transformers. I have owned 45 SET amps from Korneff, Burgess, Moth and Yamamoto, and I can say with all honesty that your amp belongs in that group. The build quality and the sound are just excellent. I am using my favorite Emission Labs solid plate 45’s and Tungsol round plate 6SN7’s and your amp lets them play to their full potential. Kudos to you for your ability to create such a terrific sounding machine. The fact that you can do it for such a reasonable price is an very impressive and makes it a real bargain.
