Excellent, light use, beautiful cherry
wood base. Documented Hazen Grid mod.
I am the second owner of this amp. I
bought it last summer on audiogon. The unit is as advertised by Decware: bullet-proof
build quality and a tweaked "Select" design. This unit was
built in 2007 with a single digit serial number. I note that the side of
the base picked up a couple of marks in the wood.
The original owner seems to have mostly kept the unit in his display collection. I have also used it sparingly.
Having a standard issue Decware SE84 in the house I can say that to my ears this version in definitely better.
