CONRAD JOHNSON PREMIER 140 STEREO TUBE POWER AMP in near mint condition.
Sound is spectacular. Includes low hours Winged C 6550 tubes, and original CJ box. Power: 140 watts per channel from 30 Hz to 15 KHz at no more than 1.5 % THD or IMD, both channels driven into 4 ohms (also available connected for 8 or 16 ohm loads) 24Sensitivity: 1.1 volt rms to rated power
Frequency Response (at 10 watts): 20 Hz to 20 kHz, +/- .1 dB
Hum and Noise: 104 dB below rated power
Input Impedance: 100 KOhms
8/9 of 10 rating. Front panel and sides are perfect, two tiny scratches (3/4") on cage next to screw holes for cage (see photos). One bias light is on for about 6 mins, but not when warmed up, and it does bias correctly. Everything else is perfect. Used prices on Blue Book average $4149, and this P140 is far above average condition.
Prefer pickup in Atlanta or will meet you within 150 miles (let's talk!), shipping will be expensive and is not recommended by CJ, it weighs 85 lbs.
I have owned this CJ amp for 6 years, and enjoyed every minute of listening. Always in smoke free house and pet free listening room. Have Mirage M1s for auditioning the amp.
