Conrad Johnson LP70S w/ spare tube sets

Conrad Johnson LP70S amplifier in near-perfect condition.  75WPC into 4 Ohms, 120VAC.  Sale includes a new set of matched Cryo-treated Black Sable 6550s ($600 at TubeDepot), two additional sets of used (but good) output tubes and two sets of input tubes.  Gets an "8" because I'm not the first owner and it has some minor blemishes. Has always worked flawlessly, as CJ equipment tends to do...

The input tubes included are three NOS Philips Miniwatt “SQ” ECC88s about 1/2 through their ~5000 hour life.  Also included are two Sovetk 6922  and one Sylvania
7308 (a re-badged Philips).

The output tubes included are the aforementioned new Black Sables plus four KT120s about 1/2 through their lifespan.  The third set are the 6550s that came with the amp when I bought it.  Their history is unknown, but are perfectly suitable as backups.

love this amp.  Warm and full-bodied yet articulate and detailed.  I can honestly say this is one of the most listenable pieces of equipment I’ve ever owned.  An absolute joy.  Alas, audioholicism is a progressive disease and I'm moving back to solid state for a while.

The original box in good shape, but double-boxing for shipping.  I’ve included a heavy duty triple-shielded Monster power cable.  It has some cosmetic blemishes but is otherwise the best cord I own.  Manual reprinted from the internet.  No remote trigger.

Also selling (different listing) a matching Conrad Johnson CT-5 preamp.  Same styling.  Together they were my rig for the last several years.  A beautiful combo, both sonically and aesthetically.
