Purchased at full retail price of $4K due to the cap upgrade.

A great sounding amp and really rocks my Avantgarde Duo's with 100w per channel in ultralinear and 50 watts in Triode.
Should easily drive any 95db and up speaker.

Just replaced all tubes with Genelex Gold Lions (12 KT77s, 2 6922s and 2 EL34s) at substantial cost as I did not plan to sell anytime soon.
Then a pair of Audiopax 88s came up which are raved about for Avantgarde speakers and I succumbed to Audio upgraditis.

They don't have the sheer volume of the Cary at only 30 watts each but they are very extended with 15 to 50KHz bandwidth so I'm keeping them and selling the Cary. I may regret this, but I'm enjoying the 88s for now.

This is a good deal considering the extra $350 just spent on new tubes. These significantly improved the bass and midrange compared to the stock EH tubes, while keeping the same high freq extension.
I will also include the 12 original EH power tubes that have about 1000 hrs or 1/3 of their life span for spares.

If it does not sell at my asking price I will keep it along with my CJ 16Ls for a second system. So don't bother with low ball offers

Original crate box and manual included. No PC. No Multimeter included, but I just set the bias per the review above - basically turn the bias screws all the way down, then up (clockwise) slowly after power on until the LEDs just turned red. It is currently set up as shown in the pics for local pickup.

Would prefer local pickup as this weighs about 65 lbs plus the crate adds another 20. Plus I can demo it to assure working order. Cash required for local pick up and will discount $100 off my price.

PM me for my contact info and to discuss transaction details. Buyer pays freight and paypal fees but I can work deals for no paypal fees if you contact me.
