Carver VTA 180M

Up for sale are my Carver Cherry VTA 180 M monoblocks. 200 W of musical tube muscle. They can drive MBLs with ease which is no small feat. The best amplifiers I have ever used in my system (including numerous high-priced tube and solid state brands I have tried over the years).
None of them bested the Carver which I have used for the last 2 years. I got more enjoyment out of them than any other amps. They combine single ended refinement and delicacy with glorious mid-range and robust, musical bass.
I am sorry to see them go but need to downsize my system for practical purposes--moving to a multi-channel solid state amp to be able to watch moves and concerts.
I bought them as a store demo less than 2 years ago--they have less than 300 hours on them.
Esthetically, 9/10--absolutely no visible imperfections.
The tubes are Genalex KT88---much more refined sounding with more robust bass than the original stock Chinese tubes. With the Genelax on board, I would put these amplifiers up against any amplifier at any price and would no be embarrassed.
The amps will ship in their original boxes and the tubes will travel in a separate box.
I prefer local pickup because of the size and weight but will split shipping if I get a reasonable offer.
