A pair of Audio Valve Challenger's. Very flexible tube needs and auto bias, will run El34's, KT88's 6550s or even mixed tube types. I believe the Challenger is simply unbeatable at the used price. They are a major step up and create a very believable musical experience with a huge soundstage, faithful instrumental textures and body and plenty of drive – sound is effortless with a feeling of highly extended headroom - like only the very best reference quality equipment can achieve. Rated at 8/10 but no marks as far as I can see. Many spare EL34 tubes included. Second owner but they these amps have been and appear very well cared for. No original cartons, since I do not have room to store them, but will be packaged and shipped professionally and insured safe delivery.
