New unit costs over $13,000, so this is a steal at this price.
9 watt single-ended Class A no feedback triode mono amplifiers, valve rectified choke power supply with Audio Note™ tantalum resistors, copper foil mylar in oil signal capacitors, Black Gate electrolytic capacitors in many places and HiB copper wired double C-core output transformers. M2 phono stage.
Valve complement: 2x 300B, 2x 5687, 1x 6SN7, 1x ECC82, 1x ECC88, 2x 6X5, 1x 5U4G. (300B tubes are not included in sale, all others are NOS types with still plenty of hours left.)
Faceplate in perfect condition. Rated 7/10 for age and the professionally repainted lid which previously had some marks from normal use and removal for tube rolling. (Note: you can order a new original lid from AN-UK if desired. I don’t see the need for it personally.)
This is a level 3 Audio Note gear, used in an all AN-UK system. Would be hard to top the sound quality of this unit unless you’re willing to spend 2x-3x more on higher level AN-UK gear. Sorry to see this go, but need to make room for a new AN-UK amp.
Ideally would like to sell to a buyer in the NYC/Northern NJ area, but will ship if really necessary to facilitate sale (US only). I don’t have the original box but will have it professionally packed.
