Audio by Van Alstine EC-2 with Ultra ll Upgrade Pre amp with phono & Remote

Rarely seen on Audiogon, priced for quick sale. This unit is extremely dynamic, with multiple inputs, remote control,including a upgraded phono section. Don’t know if it is mm or mc, I use this pre amp in a second system which was line level only.This pre amp has the bass and treble control that is extremely nice for some recordings. Sonic characteristic is extremely open but at the same time, it is neutral and uncolored. It just sounds downright Musical. My asking price of $950.00 is less than half of the original retail price of $2500.00, plus an additional $600.00  factory upgrade, making it an Ultra ll EC plus phono. I posted copies of the original receipts from the original owner purchased directly from Van Alstine. All upgrades done by Van Alstine. Some of the switches can be a little noisy, but nothing serious.
