A pair of Dared DV-200 monoblocks. 200 watts per mono, which uses 6 KT88 power tubes per mono.
Retailed at $9100. Same as the ones sold in UK as "Fatman's Mothership" (with MC-7P preamp).
This sale is not including the preamp.
This pair is 2014 US version, especially made for a North America customer. Opened box, but never been actually used. One of the tube was bad as arrived so replaced with new tube. These two monos have been stored here for months. They just like new!
They are very heavy, about 160 lb for both. So shipping is not cheap. Shipping to lower 48 states via fedex would be fix $120 (buyer will pay). To Canada would be higher. Price is firm.
PS: very few manufactures actually make tube monos (200 watts each). McIntosh makes one MC2301, but sell for $35,000 a pair (use KT88 tubes too). There are couple others who made 200 watt tube mono before. But Dared DV-200 use power transformer designed for 2000 watts so you will have no heat issue, though.
