Philips LHH-1000 Marantz CD12 CD transport. Rare!!

Selling this great Philips LHH1000 CD transport.

Comes with original remote and manual. Unit works on 115V .

Unit was sent to ATW in the UK in 02 for service.
It was stripped and a new CDM laser mech was installed and aligned. Main supply regulators and power ic’s and transistors were replaced, upgraded signal processing ic’s replaced and all leads for ic’s tinned. Full inspection on all pcb’s carried out. All possible dry joints serviced. Cable redressed for minimum digital noise and jitter etc.. Total service cost was 550 GBP back then.

I know this was in 02 but it has just had new belts and it is probably in better shape than most. I do have the original transit screws for safer shipping . Please be aware that it is still a 25 year old mechanical instrument so it’s obviously not perfect. It needs to be plugged in for 48 hours before it reads all cd’s. I recommend to leave it on all the time and never turn it off. This is how I use all my digital gear (transport/dac/pc) and this is how it performs at its best. It is being sold as is due to age.
