and ones that are available can be very expensive. Musical Fidelity is the exception!

A compliment to the existing M1 range of products the M1 CDT transport
features a high quality slot load drive mechanism and fully stabilized
clock in order to ensure ultra low jitter. The M1 CDT like the M1 DAC
features a choke regulated power supply, however the CDT features twin
choke filtration and seven separate sections to help achieve the
greatest possible data retrieval and lowest possible jitter levels.


The M1 CDT can be connected in true balanced mode to the M1 DAC via its
AES/EBU output. This audiophile option delivers optimum, audible
performance benefits.


Nuances in CD's I've heard twenty or thirty times reveal themselves as something new. Background noise is non-existent.
