Reference CD-transport Mark Levinson No. 31.5
Was bought in the United States. Complete with remote control and with original factory packaging. Almost unused in work.
The CD-transport in very good condition (excellent, given the considerable age). A pair of very minor scuff several mm at one of the end face. Almost unvisible and do not violate the exterior even when considering the close (see photo).
For mains 230V can use an external shielded transformer Hammond Manufacturing Model 172B with installed Furutech FI-E11 Gold-Plated Schuko Mains Plug. This option is free. I send the transformer with the CD-transport for all European or Asian buyers, who use mains 230V ! Also voltage conversion to 230V can be arranged for $200 at the Mark Levinson factory.
I can sell this CD-transport with the DAC Mark Levinson No. 30.5 Reference in excellent condition (+ $4900)
Shipping weight: 70-lb or 100-lb palletized on a wood pallet
Shipping methods: Fedex or freight on a pallet
Questions for the seller |
---|
Is this an original 31? Yes ! Original made by Madrigal Audio Laboratories. I think the serial number was written on the back side with using the permanent marker, because when I was cleaning the case, it was erased :( |
The backplate identifies it as a Model 31 not a 31.5. The front panel has been replaced with a 31.5 panel so it is a model 31 with a probable 31.5 upgrade. Is this correct? No ! It is not correct ! It's original 31.5 version ! I don't understand why 20 years ago this devices was marked on back side as ML 31 :) Look at other link and photos of front and back panel: [filtered]
I see that front marked as ML 31.5 and backside marked as ML 31 too ! It's other sale, not my.
Today I gone to service center with my ML CD-Transport.
We carefully removed the top cover. This required unscrew the 6 screws on the top panel. I made new photos inside. I can see that all board inside marked as 31.5, and many microchips has the date of release 1996 year (9613, 9606 etc.). Madrigal began production version ML 31.5 since 1996:
