Original Opti-Link (also called LightLink) from the mid 90's. I have two units available (priced separately). Both are identical (other than the stickers). Perfect for connecting the coaxial digital output (RCA) of a CD player to a DAC, DSP or other digital device utilizing the 500MHz bandwidth professional standard ST (AT&T) glass optical format. This not to be confused with the 6MHz bandwidth consumer grade TOSLINK plastic optical format. This converter supports 2 channel 16/44.1kHz audio, so is not compatible with higher rez 2 channel outputs from DVD players (24/96 DAD format). This is a rare converter, and the perfect item for anyone trying to get data from an older high quality (or not) CD player to a new age decoder with an ST input. The Bel Canto Design DAC3.5/3.5VB/3.5VB MK2 and new DAC3.7 all offer the ST optical input along with pieces from Wadia, dCS and a few other top tier digital companies.
Unit has a super high quality Vampire Wire (#9X) RCA input (male), ST optical output and comes with the plug in 9V power supply and original packaging. There was never a manual for this product. ST optical cable available as well.
