Good looking, but age/use showing rare TEAC X-2000M Mastering Reel to Reel.
It comes with:
1. Printout of the user's manual. 2. Original Teac hubs. 3. Original black TEAC take up reel. 3. One Maxell take up reel. 5. 3 used Maxell 10.5" tapes. 6. New set of belts that I purchased on ebay, although the unit has new belts also already installed.
All lights work (buttons and level meters)...The only negative is a missing cap on the left tensioning arm. They used a washer and small screw to secure it. I have been listening and recording and it sounds superb.
The unit was just brought up to specs by:
NJ Factory Service - formerly the TEAC/TASCAM East Coast Service Center has been in existence for over 34 years and is located in Emerson,NJ.
As per their opinion, all heads show virtually zero wear.
I have sold other reel to reel and vintage gear and know how to pack well.
