| Is there a return period for DOA or damage? Hi Ivan,
Thanks for your inquiry! If the item is damaged in transit, it will be insured, so UPS or Fedex will pay to fix it. It's factory packed though, so the risk is slim. Same with "DOA". Risk is slim, but I'm not a dealer so, no I can't take it back: I would work with you to get it serviced, but frankly, if you don't want the risks associated with buying a "used" piece of any kind and want return privileges and/or warranty, that's what your local audio/video dealer is for! Honestly, you can't expect to buy an item for a fraction of the new price and still get dealer like return privileges and/or warranty. It's the risk one takes for buying on a used site like Audiogon or Ebay. A small risk maybe, but a risk never the less. It's YOUR risk to take--not mine! You should go to your local dealer and buy if that makes you uncomfortable. Tom |
