Lyngdorf Audio BW-1 Subwoofer Pair

Pair of Lyngdorf BW-1 subwoofers for sale. These are highly resolving passive subwoofers with tight, impactful, musical bass. They're designed to be flush with the wall and work beautifully with the Lyngdorf RoomPerfect system. 
There are a couple blemishes (see photo) and I do not have the grills. (Grills can be purchased from Lyngdorf if necessary.)   
FAQ

• Why are you selling them? I bought them to work with a former pair of monitors, but now I have full range loudspeakers in a smallish listening room. If my listening room were larger, I'd keep them, but I'm not moving for a few years.


• How do they sound? Insanely good. Put them up to the best you've heard. These are $4,000 subwoofers! Without even including an amp! You can comfortably set your crossovers up to 500hz with remarkable clarity. Yes they fill in the lower and mid bass, but they also improve the soundstage, imaging, and general clarity of the system.


• How bad are the blemishes? There are two sets of marks on ONE of the BW-1s... some roughness along the edge (see photo) and one white scratch. The roughness is simply not noticeable in the real world unless you are looking for it. The white scratch is noticeable EXCEPT if you position it on the left. I'm as fickle as they get and I happily lived with the marks without shame and regret.


• What do you mean by passive? They do not have an on-board amplifier. Use a good quality amplifier to drive them, and have your Lyngdorf (etc) crossover provide the signal to that amp.


• Will you take a crazy low-ball offer? No. I have priced these to less than 25% of the retail pricing. Price is firm and frankly a steal.


• Can I use these without a Lyngdorf system? Yes. You just need to set your crossover accordingly.


• I have a Lyngdorf or McIntosh system with RoomPerfect. Am I crazy not to buy these? Yes.
