Kosmic Paperstone Isolation Platform 18” wide x 14” deep, NEW. Includes 1-1/4” Black Paperstone platform with polished finish and 3/4" MDF base with mat black painted finish, one each. Paperstone is a dense paper/composite material. The platform and base are isolated from each other by incorporating the FIM Model 305-3 Platinum ball bearing system. Which includes six platinum plated stainless steel bearing cups with Platinum plated bearing surface. Three Tungsten Carbide balls and three Silicon Nitride balls are provided. Use one type of ball or a mix for tweaking sound quality. The bottom of the base has threaded inserts for adding OPTIONAL spikes or Stillpoints, etc., with ¼-20 threads for additional damping/isolation/resonance control.
