Bright Star Rack of Gibraltar 4 , New Old Stock!

I special ordered this Rack of Gibraltar in Black Granite finish from Barry, as it wasn't in his regular line-up. He offered the ROG3 and ROG5, but I wanted 4 shelves to keep the top one at a turntable-appropriate height. He made it for me, and I also got a Big Rock 2 (pictured alongside the rack) to use in place of the thinner top shelf/box. I received them both, but, as they say, s*#t happens. The incredibly massive and solid welded steel frame is still in it's factory-plastic wrap, the Big Rock 2 still in it's box. The rectangular-tubed frame can be filled with sand or lead shot, as can each 19.5 X 17 shelf/Big Rock. The frame itself is 35" tall, 21.5" wide, and 17" deep, without spikes (included), and the spacing between shelves is about 9". This is a very stable and non-resonant rack for serious audiophiles, but is quite industrial looking. If you're interested, I think you already know that! It would be quite an undertaking to ship it, so you should be within driving distance of Palm Desert (two hours East of Los Angeles) to buy it. It was around $1,000 when new (Hell, it still IS new!), and I'm looking to get $599.95 for it. As you will need to pick it up, I will gladly accept cash. Or trades---I can used a pair of 8' Kimber silver speaker cables, the price of which this rack can be applied to.
