Presenting the Klee Acoustics Grand Illusion speaker cable, "Superconductor" model. The Superconductor takes the unique Klee Acoustics patented design to near its theoretical limit. The key secret to realism in music is time accuracy, with the higher frequencies most susceptible to time-delay corruption, to which the human ear is highly sensitive. For enhanced timing accuracy, the Klee Acoustics design channels the high frequencies through a non-reactive resistive domain and not the common highly reactive, time-smearing, inductive domain employed by all other cables on the market. The Klee approach is accomplished by fabricating a ribbon of many laminations of different metals. The 2.5-meter Grand Illusion Superconductor speaker cable includes 2 kilos of pure silver and nichrome ribbon plus a half-kilo of high purity copper ribbon in its core. Advantageously employing the Proximity Effect, the highest frequencies are drawn into, and travel primarily through, a purely-resistive, non-inductive, polished nichrome ribbon. The mid and low frequencies seek their own pathways via the pure silver ribbons and the copper core ribbon. All ribbons are bonded together with conductive adhesive. There are no signal-blurring dielectric constructions in the cable. Rather, the laminated ribbon structure is enclosed in a PET double-weave sheath. which is 95 per cent air, with the metallic ribbon structure touching the sheath only at its edges.
