I’m the original owner of this audiophile grade wire. Flatwire is Goertz’s MI-1, 13 gauge wire in a white, plenum rated outer jacket. Ironically, Flatwire costs about a third less than MI-1 despite using the same copper wire and di-electric. Goertz flat speaker wires are the only reasonably priced (by audiophile standards) wire that sounds obviously better than typical copper “zip cord” at any length. The overall condition of the three runs is very good, though one run has three ~ 1 inch hairline splits on the thin edge of the white outer jacket. I sealed them with clear scotch tape making them practically invisible more than a foot away. All runs are terminated with quality Rhodium plated banana jacks. In short, my Flatwire is a cost effective way to get Goertz's MI-1 series wire at a major discount. For what it is worth, I’m not selling all of my Flatwire. I'm keeping a few shorter runs in use in my dedicated music system.
