PS Audio GCA-100 cool running ice amp Get ready for hifi fun!!!

I'm an old tube head, who likes a little feedback in my amps, so I was prepared to hate this PS Audio GCA-100 ice amp. I didn't.
Here's what PS Audio says about it: "Dual mono 100 watt power amplifier into 8 Ohms and 200 into 4 Ohms.  Cool running and powerful, this wonderful sounding amplifier is the smallest we build in the G Series and is based on our exclusive Gain Cell technology, powered by the B&O ICE modules.  The GCA-100 is wonderfully analog sounding amplifier yet has the efficiency and power of the fabulous ICE amplification system.  The GCA-100 is a perfect match for any small to medium requirement pair of loudspeakers and can handle low impedance loads without batting an eye."
Here's the conclusion of the amplifier's review in Positive Feedback online site: "The CGA 100 has a sophisticated, transparent, neutral sound. With its 100 lovely watts, it should be able to drive most speakers. I very much enjoyed my time with this amplifier. It made listening fun, the fatigue factor almost non-existent, the emotional factor very high. The CGA 100 is a bargain at its price, and is a most worthy successor to the HCA-2. Viva Class D!"

I guess you can teach an old Kolledog new tricks. Here's what I say about the sound: Polite sounding, plays superbly at low volumes, but baby, this amp can crank too when you turn it up. It's got grunt and finesse. 
If you're looking for an amp that won't run up you air-conditioning bills this summer, this is for you.
Just serviced by master tech, Herb Ward, who installed a new input board from PS Audio.

I'm rating this a 7/10 for minor scratches. Works perfectly.

Ask any and all questions, Nothing to hide, just good clean hifi fun.
