Very Nice 1 owner Nagra MPA 250 amp with the RCMI option ....unit has original box and is in excellent condition.
The Nagra MPA MPA is a 250-Watt/channel Stereo Amplifier in a single
chassis. A special PFC power supply significantly
improves sonic performance by eliminating the detrimental power spikes inherent
in traditional transformer-based designs. It can be bridged to deliver up to 500
Watt/channel in mono operation. In addition, the retrofitable RCMI option
transforms the unit from basic power amplifier operation to a fully
remote-controlled integrated amplifier that offers wireless selection of volume,
balance, mute and any one of four line-level inputs from sources such as CD
players, tuners and tape recorders. The unit can be used in vertical or
horizontal position, and with optional rack ears, be mounted in a standard EIA(Electronic
Industries Alliance, Arlington, VA, www.eia.org) A membership organization
founded in 1924 as the Radio Manufacturing Association. It sets standards for
consumer products and electronic components.
