On offer is a Music Hall Mambo integrated amp - 50 WPC in pure class A with an integral 24/96 optical/coaxial (no USB) DAC. The amp is an OEM version of the Shanling A-40 MKII and it sounds very good. I purchased this amp on Audiogon in 2011 and I believe I am the third owner. It has a few tiny scrapes on the top of the unit and a scratch next to one of the RCA inputs (see attached photos). I do not have the original box, manual, or power cable. I do have the remote control, which will also control Music Hall CD/SACD players. Used in a pet-free, smoke-free home. The unit will be securely double-boxed for shipping. Thanks for looking!
Update: A kind soul informed me that the amp weighs only 36 lbs.! The review at http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/mambo/mambo.html is incorrect as to the weight. Shipping weight has been updated accordingly.

| Are you sure about the class A output? I can't find any mention of it anywhere. That would explain to me that it isn't class A as there are no cooling fins on the exterior.

The amp does indeed operate in class A. If you look at the picture of the back of the unit from the ad you can see that both sides are actually solid milled-aluminum cooling fins - which contribute quite a lot to its 50 lb. weight. It does get quite hot to the touch when on and shouldn't be placed in an enclosed cabinet or stacked with other components. It will help to heat your room in the winter!
Unfortunately, all mention of the Mambo has disappeared from the Music Hall Audio website. I'm not sure if that's standard practice for them or what, but it would be nice to be able to download the manual. You can find a couple of reviews (even some that mention the class-A-ness of the amp) if you Google.
