MODWRIGHT KWI200 BLACK INTEGRATED w DAC & PHONO

Black ModWright KWI 200 integrated amp with both DAC and Phono options installed. The DAC is an OEM purchase by Modwright of a USB module from M2Tech that works with both PC and Mac systems at both 32bit and 64 bit operating systems. I have used this unit with both Windows 7 at 32bit and Windows 8 at 64bit at it works perfectly on both operating systems. This DAC design features both RCA (SPDIF) and USB (24/192 fully asynchronous input) design that that both reclocks and buffers data for the lowest possible jitter and highest possible digital performance. Works fabulously with feeds such as Spotify and other internet feeds and downloads. ModWright supplies a CD with the drives needed to operate the DAC. It also does a great job with feeds from DVD Audio, SACDs, CDs, etc. The phono section is designed for MC and MM cartridges. Gain in the phono stage is 50dB. A 1.5 mV cartridge performs very well with this unit. Loading is via internal dip-switches and it has six switches that go from 100 ohm to 470K ohm, if you need to use it with a step-up transformer. Amp is very flexible and you can feed another preamp with it throught the HT/BP RCA input. Power rating for the amp is 200w 8ohms .06 THD. Very powerful and sweet sounding. Unit will be double-boxed for shipment since its weight is 65 lb.
