I am the second owner. Comes with original boxes and manual. I bought this amp in Dec 2013 because the mc302 that I owned was under powered for my Thiel cs2.4 speakers(speakers rated to 500 watts). It has been well cared for and is in perfect condition. I am selling it because I found a great deal on a pair of MC501 monoblocs in April of 2014. The MC402 has been its original boxes since then. I never had enough time before to sell the extra gear I own but circumstances now allow me the opportunity sell everything except my keepers.

In case you haven't notice, this amp is also sits in a very nice sweet spot when it comes to used market value. When you compare the MC402 to the MC302 and MC501 monoblocs, you will find that its performance is much closer to the mc501. Moving up from the MC302 to the MC402 is a huge jump in performance. However, moving up from the MC402 to the MC501 is just a small jump in performance. The MC402 sells for just $400 dollars more than the MC302. The MC402 also sells for $1,800 less than MC501 monoblocs. Now, that's what I call a sweet spot. It performs like the MC501 but it's priced like MC302.
