Up for sale is a rare MA-6850 Integrated Amplifier fresh from a certified McIntosh service dealer. I had all of the lamps replaced and boards cleaned at a cost of $309.00 This thing is clean and works wonderfully. Absolutely no bubbles or scratches in the glass. There is one tiny blemish on the right side of the aluminum cap, pictured above.
I am only the second owner of this unit, purchased locally from a Mac dealer in Sacramento CA, original sale date Sept, 1998. I am looking to move up to a newer Mac integrated - I am in no hurry to sell this unit, so it is only going at the right price. These hardly ever show up for sale. I have the original remote, cable and owners manual, I do not have the original box. It will be double boxed VERY SECURELY.
This unit throws a deeper sound stage compared to my BAT amps.
I will split the PayPal Fee 50/50.
