This is my introduction to McIntosh products and thoroughly enjoyed it since I purchased it new in January this year. Recently, used only the pre-amp section because I upgraded to the MC275 for amplification. Now it's time to upgrade to the C2500 to complete the McIntosh tube sound.
As explained to me by a McIntosh dealer, as you move up/down the line, you only gain/loose features but retain the overall McIntosh "sound" . So if you're looking for the classic McIntosh sound, this is a great integrated amp to get your foot in the door.
