McIntosh C45 Pre-amp

Up for sale is an excellent condition
McIntosh C45 preamplifier. Comes with the original remote, manual and power
cord. The unit functions flawlessly. The glass front is perfect and I can't find any scratches or flaws anywhere.  It is rated
8/10 to be on the conservative side and for the fact that I am the second owner (I purchased it from a friend a few years back). Priced at $2,400.

The McIntosh C45 is unique in that it has dual 5.1 (multi-channel) inputs.
This is for the audiophile who doesn't believe digital circuitry should
be mixed in a pre-amplifier, such as surround sound processors. The
sound is FANTASTIC on this unit. A few highlighted features:

--Audio doesn't travel through the switches, it's all microprocessor
controlled. You'll never have to clean the pots due to noise.

--One pair of XLR balanced inputs and 6 channels (5.1) XLR outputs.
It has 2 pair of XLR outputs for front left and right.

--In two channel stereo mode, the subwoofer output is a combined full
frequency L+R signal - you can use it for a center channel speaker as
well as a subwoofer.  It's fully configurable.

--Excellent MM phono pre-amp built-in

--All inputs are fully programmable

Google search and you'll find many excellent reviews of this fantastic controller.

Please note that this unit does not include the optional TM1 tuner
module. If you want a tuner, I highly suggest adding an external tuner.
The basis of the C45 was to get rid of all electronics (such as DSP)
which can cause interference and noise within one unit.
