McIntosh C45 Audio Control Center
I used this as a 2 channel
music preamp and later tried it with a processor for use in a Home Theater
environment. This unit excels at
both. For HT I used an Outlaw Audio
Model 975 to handle the HDMI inputs, outputs, switching, decoding, etc. and connected
the analog outputs into the C45 for routing of the analog signals to
amplifiers. The sound took on the McIntosh
character, which is full bodied, clean and sound seems to come alive from a
black background. I was quite surprised
and pleased with how well this combination performed.
Included is the optional TM1
AM/FM tuner module, remote AM antenna and antenna interconnect cable.
This unit is 100% functional and
is rated conservatively. The glass
faceplate looks very good and I didn’t see any dents, dings, etc. This piece is in really nice condition. Inlcuded are the C45, tuner and am antenna,
remote, manual and original box.
I’m clearing out my Mac equipment as I no longer have space.
