I took the amp in as part of a trade. Being a tube person, I wasn't sure what to expect. All I can say is wow, what a sound. Clean, smooth, extended with firm bass. I am rating a 8/10 as the cabinet has some scuffs/scratches/dents on either side in the top back. Easy fix with sanding and lacquer on this gorgeous natural oak cabinet. The seller packed the brass feet box in with the amp and it appears to have caused the damage as it weighs about 20 pounds. I will ship them separately. Also, there are rings/scraps on the bottom from the brass footers. The price reflects the minor damage which cannot be seen from the front.
As part of the mods, the on/off switch is bypassed so you have to unplug to turn off. The back and front face plates are not on tight and move a bit which is also part of the mods.

For the money, this is truly an outstanding amp. The price also includes a 3 meter pair of Q-Audio cable that list for $600. It has spades at the amp end as they use screws to attach like the old receivers. It has bananas on the speaker end and is a twisted black cloth material that has light dots on the positive side.
