This unit is in like new condition and sounds every bit of Luxman's great reputation. This unit is a swiss army knife of goodness. It has a pre-amp with MM/MC phono stage section and and Pure class A amplifier section. The two sections are connected by jumpers. This means that the user could use the pre-amp alone with another amp as the amplifier could be driven using other electronics. The phono pre-amp and record out are indispensable to the audiophile who wants to digitize their vinyl recordings. An A to D would be fed a great sounding signal. I used this unit to digitize my vinyl and I'm very happy.
Bad news is I lost the original U shaped jumpers (they were not of particularly good quality that someone would miss). Instead., I'm including a set of custom made jumpers from Zu Audio. There is an extra out in the form of the Y jumpers. This makes it possible to use subwoofer(s) or other amplifiers with regular RCA cables.
