You cannot find these wonderful preamp often on sale because its had to let go. Build like a tank. I am the second owner and loved it every day i listen to it. Never have any issues. It was babied .The 8 rating is because of the age otherwise its 9. It has 3 tubes on power supply which made these preamp so quiet , noise free and background. It just let the music flow. I am only selling because I bought the L2 which has separate power supply and cost more otherwise same house sound . Let me tell you guys . this Lamm L1 has best most preamp that I have tried/used, that's why i kept it. I have tried so many preamp's yes and none came close.
