This little USB amp has 2 RCA inputs in addition to the USB input. These originally sold for $3250 from Red Rose Music. This combined integrated amp and DAC were designed by Daniel Hertz and Mark Levinson. This unit is said to have came out of Mark Levinson's personal demo setup, and were put away when the company folded a few years ago. Fully functioning including Windows Media Player based plug-in software you will have to install on your computer.
Mark Levinson and Dick Burwen developed a piece of software that works in conjunction with these units in Windows Media player as a plugin to add a lot back to what's missing in digital music (software included as a download). Fully functioning including!
It has RCA line out, which bypasses volume control and power amp section, which is nice if you want to use your own power amp.
Some minor scratches and nicks, so rated 7.
