Classe DR-10 Power Amplifier

Rough but ready, this Classe DR-10 power amp offers 100 wpc into 8 ohms and continues to double the power and remain stable into a 2 ohm load. Sonically the amp performs exactly as it was designed and has had some of the caps replaced in the power supply a few years ago so should remain trouble free for another 15 years. The amp will also play in mono offering 400 watts per channel. Mechanically everything works but there are a couple of screws missing on the top case (the repair shop lost them), but the RCAs, five way binding posts, and on/off switch are without issue. Cosmetically the amp is rough with a number of scratches on the top plate along with one small gouge on one of the front handles ,,. hence the 5 rating. I you want to spray paint the top plate a flat black 95% of the cosmetic demerits will disappear. I am probably being a little picky as I had the amp on a stand and could not see the top, and it looked fine. Sonically excellent, mechanically sound, and cosmetically needy. I am downsizing my bedroom system hence the sale of the Classe. The owns manual is available on line from high fi engine.
